ONCCE were approached by Dawson WAM to act as the main Formwork subcontractor for the ongoing £5m Belfast sewers upgrade scheme. 

The reinforced concrete elements of the scheme included 3 CSO chambers, a valve chamber and a pumping station. In addition to this, there were several head walls along the length of the scheme which were completed in order to aid the efficiency of the pipe jacking operation. 

The most technically challenging aspect of the scheme was the 8m deep, 6m diameter liner wall to the pumping station at Hardcastle street.
